The all-important and convenient 3×5″ skill cards are designed to provide an easy reference for students practicing the 50 prosocial skills taught in the Skillstreaming the Adolescent program.

Each skill is paired with eight (8) corresponding cards that outline the behavioral steps involved, simplifying the process for students to review and reinforce their learning.

There are a total of 400 adolescent skill cards.

These skill cards are ideal for group sessions, one-on-one guidance, and individual practice. Students can utilize them during role-play activities, class discussions, or as reminders for handling specific social situations. Additionally, the cards are beneficial for reinforcing skills outside of group settings, allowing students to refer to them for homework or practice in real-life scenarios. Educators and counselors can also use the cards to help guide students through the skill steps.

NOTE: It is essential for successful implementation of this curriculum to first have the program book Skillstreaming the Adolescent: A Guide for Teaching Prosocial Skills before attempting to utilize other Skillstreaming products.

Shown below is an episode of Prosocially Yours, a podcast produced by Research Press. In this episode, host Elizabeth Hess interviews educator and author, Dr. Ellen McGinnis, about the widely acclaimed Skillstreaming program.
