Dr. Ann Vernon

Ann Vernon, Ph.D., is professor emerita, University of Northern Iowa, where she served as coordinator of the School and Mental Health Counseling programs. Dr. Vernon has published numerous books and has authored more than 50 book chapters dealing primarily with counseling children and adolescents, developmental counseling, and applications of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) with children and adolescents. In addition to her teaching and writing, Dr. Vernon presents workshops throughout the United States and abroad.
