This DVD program illustrates the concepts and training procedures contained in the Peer Mediation books. A free copy of the Peer Mediation Program Guide accompanies the DVD.
The presentation includes discussions of the program’s objectives and implementation procedures, demonstrations of the six-step mediation process, and videotaped scenes of student training and mediation sessions. The Peer Mediation Video is the next best thing to an on-site training presentation by the program developers.
“Mediation skills, concepts and process are presented by the effective use of trainer description interspersed with student demonstration. Here is a tool that will be useful in program promotion as well as training.”
—Linda Moyer, The Peer Facilitator Quarterly
“The video would serve as a good introduction and overview in addressing the students selected to be trained as mediators before training is begun and for soliciting the support of and promoting understanding of the program by parents, teachers, and administrators.”
—A. Jerry Benson and Joan M. Benson, Journal of School Psychology
