Scott Rice

Scott Rice, a certified school counselor since 2008, received his Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Augustana College, Rock Island, IL, and his Master’s Degree in School Counseling from DePaul University, Chicago. Prior to being a school counselor, Scott worked for a Chicago-based non-profit domestic violence agency. He began his school counseling career in the Chicago Public Schools as an elementary counselor and case manager, later transitioning to high school counseling, where he was awarded the Chicago Public Schools 2017 Impact Award for secondary counselors. Part of a family of educators and coaches, Scott has spent the majority of his career in secondary education and currently serves students at Pleasant Valley High School, Bettendorf, IA.
