Dr. Mary Anne Linden

Mary Anne Linden, PhD, JD, is an attorney and has been an educator (K–12 teacher, administrator, and university faculty) for 23 years. She holds degrees in law, special education, and educational policy and leadership, and has been involved in teacher and administrator preparation since 1991. Dr. Linden’s teaching and research activities focus on school law and policy, with particular emphasis on parent involvement in schooling, discrimination, alternative dispute resolution, and constitution law issues arising in public education. Dr. Linden provides training and consultation services on special education law and practice. She also has investigated special education complaints for the Oregon Department of Education.
