Dr. Sandee Graham McClowry

Sandee Graham McClowry, PhD, RN, FAAN, is a professor in the Applied Psychology and Teaching & Learning Departments, Steinhardt School of Education at New York University. She received her doctorate in family nursing theory from the University of California, San Francisco. She was a postdoctoral fellow and faculty member at Yale University. Dr. McClowry has conducted multiple research studies in a variety of communities on children’s temperament and family interactions. She was the principal investigator of the federally funded clinical trials that tested the efficacy of the INSIGHTS into Children’s Temperament program. Dr. McClowry has published extensively on her research and on clinical issues in mental health and nursing journals.
