On December 13 our Research Press family lost one of our own. Ann Parkinson, 96, was married to Research Press founder Robert (Bob) W. Parkinson. Together over 50 years ago they built Research Press into a ground-breaking publishing firm that focused on publishing behavior intervention books and films authored by psychologists for use by educators and parents of children and adolescents. Ann was a member of the Board of Directors and a Shareholder. She was one of five incorporators of Research Press Co., Inc. established in 1970. She and Bob purchased the land and built the office and warehouse that serves the business today. She was a willing participant in the early days of operating the business. Research Press Publishers continues to be a family-owned enterprise.
