Børge Strømgren

Børge Strømgren, PhD, is an associate professor in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences in Norway. He has conducted research on Aggression Replacement Training (ART) in Norwegian schools and currently investigates schoolwide intervention programs and implementation of ART and other social competence programs or programs aimed at improving academic functioning. His clinical practice includes consulting and hands-on supervision of interventions of programs for people with autism spectrum disorders and developmental disabilities. His main research focuses on how Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) can effectively support the short- and long-term effects of ART. Børge is also a board member of PREPSEC International.
