Research Press sadly notes the passing of professor emeritus, researcher and author Bernardo J. “Bernie” Carducci (May 20, 1952–September 22, 2018). Among his many accomplishments, he founded and directed the Indiana University Southeast Shyness Research Institute. Dr. Carducci published two books with Research Press: The Shyness Workbook and The Shyness Workbook for Teens. Those of us who spent time in Bernie’s company know how deeply we will miss his presence in our lives.
