Peacetown Game: A Conflict Resolution Game

Grades 2-5. This board game teaches conflict resolution skills. During the game, students learn basic skills such as taking turns, sharing, avoiding, getting help, compromising, apologizing, and ignoring. More complex skills include: respecting differences, attacking the problem rather than the person, taking responsibility for actions, communicating feelings, and listening. For 2 to 6 players.

Peacetown is really two games in one: it features a double sided gameboard! One side shows the exteriors of Peacetown where players learn basic conflict resolution skills. After turning the gameboard over, students move inside the buildings of Peacetown, where they learn more complex conflict resolutions skills.
