Dr. Edna Olive

Dr. Edna Olive is a teacher, writer, consultant, facilitator, and coach dedicated to enhancing the lives of children and those who care for them. She is the founder and executive director of ROCKET, Inc., located in Silver Spring, Maryland. Having planned to be an educator since the age of six, Edna’s journey has led her to national and international forums, where she has served children, families, professionals, and organizations also dedicated to serving children and youth. She has spoken to and trained thousands of professionals throughout the United States and abroad. She holds graduate degrees from The American University and The George Washington University including Masters of Education, Educational Specialist, and Doctor of Education. She is a trainer in Positive Behavior Facilitation (PBF) and a trainer in Life Space Crisis Intervention (LSCI). Edna believes that serving today’s children and youth must be a calling and that such service is part of a movement of which she is privileged to be a part.
