Dr. James L. McDougal

James L. McDougal, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the school psychology program in the Counseling and Psychological Services Department at The State University of New York at Oswego. He was formerly the mental health coordinator for the Syracuse City School District, where he provided mental health and behavioral consultation services to over 40 schools and programs. Dr. McDougal has presented numerous training seminars at state and national forums in the areas of school-based functional assessment, academic and behavioral intervention planning, consultation, and prereferral intervention.
