Dr. H.D. Fredericks
Dr. H.D. "Bud" Fredericks worked in the Teaching Research Division of Western Oregon State College, now Western Oregon University, from 1968 until his retirement in 1995. He is a nationally recognized expert in service provision for children and adolescents with extreme behavioral challenges. Since his retirement he has maintained active involvement in Work Unlimited, a supported work agency he established, and he is the chairperson of Benton County, Oregon's, Commission on Children and Families. In 2001, the College of Education at the University of Oregon selected Dr. Fredericks as its Outstanding Alumnus.
