This fast-paced, easy-to-use parent education program is based on the book, SOS Help For Parents. It includes a 72-minute video (both VHS & DVD), video leader's guide, reproducible parent handouts, Child Management Skills Text, and a copy of the SOS Help For Parents book. The SOS Video Program includes 43 parent-child interaction scenes that illustrate over 20 child management skills. The program is used by counselors, parent groups, educators, churches, and social service professionals and is intended for parenting workshops, staff development, in-service training, teacher training, classroom use, and counseling. Part One may be viewed by a group or individually. For Part Two, a group leader should guide the discussion following each of the parenting scenes. The video leader's guide offers discussion questions for each scene. |
